Need to learn more about a Career Direction you are thinking about pursuing? Want to shadow or Interview and individual working in the profession you are considering to see what the job is really like? Consider doing a job shadow or an informational interviewing opportunities. Tips on contacting professionals, making a good impression, and how to follow up later for additional opportunities and letters of recommendation. Please phone to book into the workshop (250)679-8448

Your first day of work will help identify yourself in the eyes of your new co-workers. Make a good first impression, and you'll soon be seen as a competent and valued colleague. But a bad first impression could translate into months or years of trying to undo and moreover rectify the damage. Participants will receive Tips and Guidelines of how to prepare for their first day on the job, effectively manage their time in the workplace and ask the question needed to ensure you're on top of your game for your "first day of work!"
